SoftArc Technologies to launch AutoScribe 8
rapid delivery of real-time content automation solutions

Johannesburg , 7 July 2005 – SoftArc today announced the planned launch of AutoScribe 8 in Q2 2006. AutoScribe 8 is a re-architecture of the previously successful customer specific AutoScribe editions. It embraces advances in new technologies including SoftArc’s new object model that allows a 100% code base convergence. Customers can look forward to more objects, more properties and more user-configurable automation. There's also improved workflow with the separation of content, layout and playout interfaces and engines. Aiding the rapid delivery of solutions is the visual canvas that allows just-in-time changes to layout. An open architecture forms the foundation of AutoScribe 8 that will allow extended support of 3rd party graphic platforms and framebuffer APIs. AutoScribe runs on Windows XP Professional and uses Microsoft SQL Server 2000.
